1) Build and use your network.
You know Bob, you got introduced to him at a Christmas party last year. You connected with Bob on LinkedIn and have stayed in touch. You are thinking about expanding your team in Bob’s area of expertise, so you should shoot him a message on LinkedIn or give him a call. It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.
2) Stop wasting your precious time posting on job boards.
You will quickly see that you make more work for yourselves as you sift through hundreds of unqualified applicants. The best talent that you want to hire is not on job boards anyway because they already have a job where they are excelling. They might not be vocal about how unhappy they could be but they definitely are not on job boards applying. Login
3) Outsource to an expert who does this all the time.
They are rockstars at finding, selecting, and hiring passive talent. They talk to candidates who are presently employed all day, every day and can get them in front of you, saving you valuable time and money.
